We're Jason Graham and Jenni Greene.
We've been teachers, district and state leaders, and consultants. We started 7Gen to do this work the way we believe it should be done: with people, not to them.

Why we started 7Gen
Our paths began far apart, in classrooms, district offices, and state agencies across Florida, North Carolina, and New York. Between us, we've been the teacher staying late to reach one more student, the administrator juggling competing priorities with shrinking resources, and the person trying to make state policy work in real classrooms.
We met as colleagues at a national consulting firm. Project after project — strategic plans, leadership coaching, community engagement — we found a deep respect for each other's expertise and kept arriving at the same conviction: plans made for people end up on a shelf, while plans made with people change what happens on Monday morning.
So we built a firm around that conviction and named it for the Seventh Generation Principle: make today's decisions with the next seven generations in mind. We bring heart, humor, and humility to that work, and we stay with it as plans become practice.
What we believe
Our name and our mark carry the same idea. The 7 reflects the Indigenous belief that today's choices shape the world for at least seven generations. The mirrored 7 stands for the reflection of self and systems that meaningful progress requires. And the markings and colors honor the traditions and wisdom we've inherited from those who came before us.

Jason Graham
Co-Founder & Senior Partner
Jason has more than 20 years of experience in education, from classroom teacher and instructional leader to Director of Teaching and Learning at Florida State University Schools and Senior Director at the Florida Department of Education.
At the Department, he oversaw Florida's professional development and educator evaluation systems and led comprehensive redesigns of both. He launched the Commissioner's Leadership Academy and the Florida Standards Academy, strengthening observation and instructional leadership skills for more than 1,000 principals and educators, led leadership team training for more than 300 schools, and led development of statewide instructional coaching standards. Before 7Gen, his consulting work included leading Nevada's collaborative redesign of its continuous improvement process and guiding 12 Texas districts through science curriculum adoption.

Jenni Greene
Co-Founder & Senior Partner · Member of the Lumbee Tribe
Jenni has more than 20 years of experience across education, government, and community organizations. She began as an English teacher and literacy leader, and later served as Director of Secondary Curriculum at Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools, where she led multi-phase curriculum selection and implementation across 79 schools.
Her consulting work spans 12 states and multiple sectors. That includes several years directing Massachusetts' Anti-Racism, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (ADEI) Learning Series, which has engaged 90% of the state's adult education programs. She brings deep experience in facilitation, human-centered design, change management, strategic planning, and executive coaching — creating the conditions for communities to build their own solutions.
