Meet Our Core Team

  • Jenni Greene

Co-Founder & Managing Partner, Member of the Lumbee Tribe
Jenni grounds 7Gen's work in the Indigenous wisdom that teaches us to consider seven generations in every decision. With over 20 years spanning education, government, and community sectors, she brings a unique ability to bridge people, ideas, and systems. As Director of Secondary Curriculum at Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools (16th largest district nationally), Jenni led multi-phase curriculum selection and implementation across 79 schools. Her consulting portfolio spans 12 states and multiple sectors, including directing Massachusetts' groundbreaking Anti-Racism, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (ADEI) Learning Series that engaged 90% of the state's adult education programs. A skilled facilitator and systems designer, Jenni creates the conditions where communities can co-create their own solutions.

"My ancestors knew that real wisdom comes from the collective. When we create spaces where everyone's truth can be spoken, that's when breakthrough happens."

  • Jason Graham

    Co-Founder & Senior Partner
Jason brings deep experience in education leadership, strategic planning, and system-level improvement. As former Director of Teaching and Learning at Florida State University Schools and Senior Director at the Florida Department of Education, he has led transformative initiatives at every level of the education system. At FDOE, Jason oversaw Florida's professional development and teacher evaluation systems, leading comprehensive revamps of both. He launched key programs including the Commissioner's Leadership Academy and the Florida Standards Academy, strengthening observation and instructional leadership skills for over 1,000 principals and educators across the state. Jason conducted leadership team training for 300+ schools and led the formulation of state-wide instructional coaching standards. His systems-level work drove measurable improvements in instructional consistency and leadership readiness throughout Florida's schools. His consulting work includes leading Nevada's collaborative redesign of their continuous improvement process and guiding 12 Texas districts through science curriculum adoption. A former teacher and instructional leader, Jason grounds every strategy in classroom reality.

"True transformation happens when we stop doing things TO people and start doing things WITH them. That's the difference between a plan that sits on a shelf and one that transforms a community."

What Drives Us

We've walked in your shoes. We've been teachers staying late to reach one more student. We've been administrators juggling competing priorities with shrinking resources. We've been the ones trying to make state policy work in real classrooms.

We know that:

  • Real change requires deep reflection—of self and systems

  • The best solutions already exist within communities

  • Sustainable impact demands both inherited wisdom and modern innovation

  • Every organization has the power to shape generations

Our Approach is Different

We don't show up with pre-packaged solutions. Instead, we:

  • Listen first – Your community holds the answers

  • Honor all knowledge – From ancestral wisdom to current data

  • Build together – Co-creation over consultation

  • Think in generations – Short-term fixes don't interest us

  • Stay connected – Implementation support that lasts

Why 7Gen?

We take our name from the Seventh Generation Principle, a Native philosophy that asks us to make decisions today with an eye toward how they will impact people seven generations from now. That’s how we approach every partnership: not just solving problems, but helping systems evolve—sustainably, thoughtfully, and with lasting impact.
