About us

We're Jason Graham and Jenni Greene.

We bring experience across classrooms, districts, state agencies, and consulting — and we started 7Gen to do this work the way we believe it should be done.

Why we started 7Gen

We met while working at a national consulting firm, on projects that ranged from strategic plans to leadership coaching and community engagement. Project after project, we found we worked well together. We respected each other's expertise, and we kept arriving at the same conviction: the work that lasts is built with the people who will carry it, not handed to them.

We started 7Gen to build a practice around that conviction. We named it for the Seventh Generation Principle, a reminder to weigh how today's decisions affect the people who come after us.

For our clients, that shows up in how we work. We listen first, shape plans around your people and capacity, and stay engaged as the work moves into implementation.

Jenni Greene

Co-Founder & Senior Partner · Member of the Lumbee Tribe

Jenni has more than 20 years of experience across education, government, and community organizations. She began as an English teacher and literacy leader, and later served as Director of Secondary Curriculum at Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools, where she led multi-phase curriculum selection and implementation across 79 schools.

In consulting roles before 7Gen, her work spanned 12 states and multiple sectors, including directing Massachusetts' Anti-Racism, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (ADEI) Learning Series, which engaged 90% of the state's adult education programs. She brings deep experience in facilitation, human-centered design, change management, strategic planning, and executive coaching — creating the conditions for communities to build their own solutions.

My ancestors knew that real wisdom comes from the collective. When we create spaces where everyone's truth can be spoken, that's when breakthrough happens.

True transformation happens when we stop doing things TO people and start doing things WITH them. That's the difference between a plan that sits on a shelf and one that transforms a community.
